    Dr. Barry Webb

    Barry Webb

    Dr. Barry Webb is a gifted Old Testament Scholar and Lecturer of over 30 years. Formerly the Head of Old Testament at Moore Theological College, he is now a Senior Research Fellow Emeritus.

    His experience in teaching and writing on Wisdom includes the publication ‘Five Festal Garments’ from the NSBT series, which examines the relationship between books like Ecclesiastes and the Song of Songs and the message of the Bible as a whole in terms of promise and fulfillment (Biblical Theology).

    More recently has has been devoting more time to writing, with a commentary on the book of Judges from the NICOT series on the way. Other commentaries he has written include 'The Message of Isaiah' and 'The Message of Zechariah' from the BST series, and he also contributed the 'Esther' study notes from the ESV Study Bible.

    Barry and his wife Alison are involved in evangelism, discipleship and preaching ministries at their church. They have also been involved in gospel ministry to mainland Chinese for many years.
